Who we are

Alden Obligation Resolution LLC is a licensed debt buyer and debt resolution company based in Washington, DC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. If you have questions, email us at hello@aldenreso.com.

What information we have about you

When a portfolio is purchased, it comes with basic account information — your name, mailing address, account number, and balance. That information came from the original creditor, not from you directly.

If you visit our portal and enter your account number, we may also have your email address or phone number on file. If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, account number, and the message you sent us.

We don’t collect payment card details directly — all payments are handled by Stripe.

How we use it

We use your information to do one thing: resolve your account. That means sending you a secure sign-in link, processing your payment, generating your resolution documents, and responding if you reach out to us. We don’t use your information for marketing. We don’t sell it. We don’t share it except as described below.

SMS messages

If you request a sign-in link and we don’t have an email address on file, we may send it to your phone number via text. One message per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help or email hello@aldenreso.com. We will never share your phone number or use it for anything other than sending you that link.

Who we share your information with

We share your information only with the vendors we need to operate: Stripe processes your payments, Resend sends your emails, and Supabase stores your account data securely. That’s it. We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with other collectors, marketers, or anyone else.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information we have about you, to ask us to correct it if it’s wrong, and to request that we delete it — subject to the legal retention requirements below. How long we keep it

We keep account records for a minimum of 7 years from the date of last activity. That’s required for FDCPA compliance and standard business recordkeeping. When an account is outside the statute of limitations and has never been resolved, we destroy the data securely.

Security

Your data is stored in a secured database with access controls that restrict who can see what. All data travels over HTTPS. We don’t store your payment card number.
